Pressurized Vessel Degassing

Our Global Vapor Control® (GVC) fleet of thermal oxidizers is built with a unique dual air intake and double blower system to handle pressurized vessels under nitrogen, such as spheres. Because of the chemical properties of nitrogen, simply routing it through a thermal oxidizer risks extinguishing the flame in the chamber. Oxygen is used to dilute the vapor, but units with only a single air system require more time to dilute the flow, risking unplanned unit shutdown.

GVC’s unique dual blower system offers a competitive advantage when working with nitrogen enriched atmospheres by continuing to burn vapors at a faster rate without threat to the flame or temperature.
